EARTH KEEPERS

Nature & Renewal

This body of work explores the deep and enduring relationship between humanity and the natural world. Combining botanical forms with symbolic, poetic expression, each piece serves as a visual tribute to the earth as both life-giver and guardian.

Ordinary blooms and organic elements are transformed into otherworldly figures that invite wonder and introspection. These forms honour nature not only for its beauty, but for its resilience, wisdom, and capacity to sustain life. The works speak to growth, imagination, and the profound connection between art, identity, and the environment.

Created through a thoughtful and tactile process, the sculptures are constructed using cardboard, paper, papier-mâché, fibre, and other natural or upcycled materials. The raw textures and organic qualities of these elements reinforce a connection to earth and sustainability, transforming humble materials into contemporary expressions of care, resilience, and reverence.

Across cultures and throughout history, nature has been central to spiritual belief, ritual, and self-expression. Inviting viewers to slow down and engage, each form stands as a quiet reminder of our shared responsibility to care for the world we inhabit.
